DESCRIPTION:What: The CVHLA Young Adult Retreat is a weekend created just for you—a chance to connect with others who truly understand what it’s like to live with VHL. This retreat offers a supportive space for young adults to share experiences\, learn from experts\, and focus on your well-being. You’ll gain knowledge about the latest treatments\, connect with others navigating similar challenges\, and take part in workshops on everything from mental health to family planning. It’s a weekend to recharge\, find support\, and build lasting relationships in the Canadian VHL community—because no one should face this journey alone. This retreat is an inclusive event that welcomes all Canadian young adults living with VHL\, regardless of background\, identity\, or experience. We’re committed to creating a safe\, supportive environment where everyone can feel seen\, heard\, and valued. Whether you’re new to the VHL community or have been living with it for years\, this weekend is for you—bringing together diverse voices and experiences to share\, learn\, and grow together Fee: $100 – This event is limited to 20 spots. Apply early to ensure you get a spot. What that gets you: Accommodation\, meals\, conference access and fun group activities.
